Organic growth of HWH

Fourteen years and over 600,000 patients later, we still can’t believe how far Hashim Welfare Hospital has come.

Last year alone, we treated more than 72,000 patients, performed over 1,300 cataract surgeries, and helped deliver 738 babies into the world. We have managed this growth by focusing on prioritising patient needs, with the infrastructure developing organically around this key principle.

Reaching capacity

However, with increasing numbers of patients, and plans for more essential services, such as ENT and dialysis, we have reached a point where the current buildings are not able to maintain our growth.
